Soul Circus by George Pelecanos

Managed to finish Soul Circus by George Pelecanos. The third of the series. This novel has a lot of characters and if you can keep track of all of them then you’ll probably enjoy it. It’s a detective fiction type of story but there weren’t really any twist and turns and there was a lot of foreshadowing in my opinion. The ending was uninteresting, and unexpected. Pelecanos wrote this in third person omniscient, but it might be limited, I still can’t wrap my mind around it. It moves from one character to another and it breaks throughout the chapters. I would most likely give it a 3.5/5 ⭐️I gave it a chance and I don’t regret the time I gave it. My next read is Descendant of the Crane by Joan He ❤️ Question for today: What is on your to be read pile at the moment? I love recommendations.
